10 peninsular engines stack up off Allen Blvd, Farmingdale, NY . 10 cents a pound (about $100 bucks each ) the junk yard cast iron price is about 6 to 8 cents a pound so they will sit there. i have no idea why a person would want to put this engine in the number one fishing boat in the world!!!

i build a fabulous sliding pocket raised panel teak door to the head.i used two Anderson sliders (four mini wheels on each piece) on the bottom of the door and made the track out of Epay (three spellings for this wood) . the door works perfectly.

Rickyea that photo is not the one. look on the bridge of any large flybridge fishing boat . they will have two bridge chairs on the bride the foot rest is what we are using for a step.

tony i use a sanding block with 320 grit and my son wet sands every three years or so. he does both panels under the companionway sides of engine hatches (that really take a beating) . the panels pull out of interlock with no screws and he has them done in 30 minutes.

two speed ZF gears but they are very high physically and would not fit in confined under cockpit . i took measurements and not even close.some years back Cabo made a 31or 32' with catapillars 350 hp and used this ZF two speed transmission . costly for a 31' so they use the 35' as minimum.
