mine are 14 years old in perfect condition. the bundle tubes are a perfect fit to clean with 22 caliber pistol cleaning wire brush and i did this about seven years ago. now as you know i run "salt away " thru salt water system and let it sit 1/2 hour then flush with fresh water WITH RAW WATER VALVES...

there are many photo`s of my cockpit already on Bertram 31 . the hinges are totaly concealed and very sturdy due to the 4" of each hinge so you have 8" of hinge on each hatch making it three times as stong as OEM. perko.

i made a totally concealed hinge system for engine hatches, you purchase regular SS 4" hinges than thru bolt one half to deck the top half is epoxy molded into engine hatch .works perfect for 15 years and if you want to remove engine hatch simply remove hinge pins! PERFECTION

the marina got a price today on one pair of 6-71 and one pair of 8-92 , wow minus 600.00 for removal of 6- 71 and 700.00 for 8-92 and thats after every bit of oil and coolant removed. labor to dispose far exceed cast iron price.

purchased a 38' Bertram with 3208---435 hp, we went to the canyon no problem from Keyport NJ. 380 gallon of fuel in main tank is more than enough however that 3208 has steel oil pan which is beyond dumb as you might expect we developed a heavy leak coming home from the Hudson canyon with a shit show...
