Joe,

I'm going down to my boat Tues or wed evening. I could take some pix
if you still need them.

The big rudders make all the difference in the world!

By the way I have Hynautic steering, might make a difference, but maybe not.

I have the NavNet VX2 system (before 3-D), GPS/36 mi. radar. A 10'' screen and a 7" screen + a seperate Furuno 620 sonar.

I'm very happy with this system. Thinking about upgrading the sonar via the black box system and a different ducer, so that every thing will be intergrated.

It only takes money!

Well Timmy,

Sterling rear diff. 3.73 gear - limited slip - 10 1/4" ring gear.

Front diff. from what I can find is a Dana 50 (from 2 of our techs), our parts listing doesn't specify the make just lists the parts by part #.

I'll be glad to dig further if you want, let me know.

There should be a tag on both the front diff. and the rear diff, if no one has thrown them away.

If you can come up with those #'s ,I should be able to tell you what you have. Vin# wouldn't hurt either, all 17 digits.

Craig,

if nothing else you could attach a (cord) or whatever to your old cable. Pull the old cable and leave the cord in place as a snake. Then take your measurement or locate the ID on the old cable.

I did that for all four of my cables, worked ok.

Capt. Dick if you have a small craft airport near they usually have a store.

You can pick up hyd. fluid there, it will be less than Worst Marine. Which as Bruce said is better than using ATF.
