I pulled the plate out that has the sending unit attached to it, I am fitting my return lines into it. I noticed the fuel in there is greenish in color, it is OLD GASOLINE. Fuel Hose size Cummins

I am in the process of my Cummins 4BT to B28 project.

I have noticed the fuel line barb that goes into the fuel lift pump is a different size on each engine. One is a 3/8 and the other is smaller like 1/4 or 5/16...not sure but NOTICEABLY smaller.

I was planning to make BOTH 3/8.

Is 3/8 OK?

Sounds like it is drawing more amps than the circuit is rated at.

Try hooking it up to a non-GFIC outlet and see if it trips the breaker in the house when you turn it on.

If it does not then try another way to ground that green wire.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in.

Harry was correct! THANK YOU!!!! The info gave me a place to look once the oil pan was dropped. Instead of ordering a new gasket we had an extra flange gasket. We put the "extra" flange gasket on the area that the oil pan should have covered. Fired it up and oil pressure was instantaneous! I feel go...

Not such a good day! Worked all day and we noticed right off the bat we were not gettting oil pressure when cranking. We checked the pump, the oil cooler assembly and many other things and came up with noting! We switched the oil pump with the other one I have from the port engine and no difference....

On a further look the frame is actually two separate frames, one for front and other for back.

The one I used was a square frame which would not allow this to happen. You can still lose the boat off any set-up but this one IMHO is an accident waiting to happen.

I actually dont have tachometers yet, these engines are a new install for this boat. Zero hour rebuilds.

I had twinscan tachometer setup for the gassers and figure I need to get new tachs.
