Is there anyone out there that can re-line the tank with some sort of barrier resin or something along those lines. I figured if I removed the tank and cut the top off it could be cleaned of all gelcoat (which will come off VERY easily in this case). Then the inside could be coated with something th...

Fuel Tank problem
I pulled the plate out that has the sending unit attached to it, I am fitting my return lines into it. I noticed the fuel in there is greenish in color, it is OLD GASOLINE. The gasoline in there is PRE-ETHANOL. I have noticed the gel-coat on the inside of the tank is peeling off all over the place. ...

Fuel Hose size Cummins
I am in the process of my Cummins 4BT to B28 project.
I have noticed the fuel line barb that goes into the fuel lift pump is a different size on each engine. One is a 3/8 and the other is smaller like 1/4 or 5/16...not sure but NOTICEABLY smaller.
I was planning to make BOTH 3/8.
Is 3/8 OK?

Turbo parts for Holset
I wanted to share some info with anyone that may be rebuilding their turbo on their Cummins engine. I have holset H1C and it was in bad shape. The shaft wheel fins (turbine side) were bent over slightly and there was excessive play in the shaft as well. I needed to replace the turbine/shaft wheel as...

This debate always comes up. RED stuff is OK on the water. The RED stuff is really the only good diesel out there. RED stuff is USUALLY RED Dyed "LOW SULFUR DIESEL" which has no more than 500 parts per million content of sulfur. The sulfur is the so called bad stuff for emissions but it keeps our di...

I want to pressure test a new oil cooler I have to see if it can be used with a Hurth Transmission.
It needs to be tested to 350PSI I believe and if that is the case I was wondering if anyone knows a place in the Long Island or NYC area?

I was wondering what the correct path for the serpentine belt is on the front of a B-series Cummins. I am only turning the water pump, alternator, crankshaft, and the tensioner. I have one that has a crack on the top that was only seen when it was boiled out at the machine shop.
My intention is to throw it away but before I do I was wondering if anyone has successfully repaired one.
It is a B-series cummins 4 cylinder

Hard to tell, I have rigged many boats on a crane and frame sling setup and that is what we always fear.
