My 1969 31 Bertram is called "Flashback"

I've run a few boats with electronic controls including an 83' yacht. Once you get the "feel" of the controls it's a non issue. They also work great when working a big fish. I'm thinking of putting them on my Bertram this winter actually

Call Ed Viola in Mattituck. The boat was at Montauk Marine Basin the other day. Supposed to be in good condition

That model came from the factory with a 327, 210 hp motor. But if the 318 runs it well, they are great motors too. Just change the oil every fifty hours. Have no idea what the # is. it is the honey comb with fiberglass sides

Has anyone had any experience with this stuff? Thinking about using it as material for bulkhead between the cockpit and cabin on my Chris Craft Cutlass Dory. Would it also work as decking material on my 31? If so, should it be West systemed? any other ideas?

Billy has never owned a Bertram. As a true and very knowledgeable boat lover, he realizes the 31 is a near perfect boat, but he has never owned one, nor has any corp. he was involved in. Sorry.

The filter is not close at all. Maybe a different mount. In any event, if it isn't the filter, it's the starter. There have always been at least 3 down there in West Harbor. Families use them for fishing and also to go back and forth to the mainland. I was there last week and I think there were 5 in the harbor including the one blocked up at Pirates Cove.

Does anyone know where I can get a print or origional of a 31 Bertram line drawing?
