Do you think it will be good for another 50hrs? What would cause this? I am going to be running the boat from Va beach to Jacksonville, Fl over the holiday weekend and was hoping it would not be a major issue!

Harry- The boost pressure looked good and the engines were running very smoothly. There was hardly any smoke on start up. Thanks for the replies. I am going to sea trial this boat Saturday! -Bob H. how can I tell if the spacing is adequate? These engines have about 1700 hours and propped turning 2850 at full load. Any other suggestions?

One of the great things about the newer power is less weight and more compact. No that was a time-on-target exercise plus/minus 30seconds. They are very restricted over in Hawaii on "live fire" areas. It would be a good target though!

Harry- Here is a liberty ship located just off the island of Lanai (Island in Hawaii). My understanding is that they used this shoal as a "junk yard" for getting rid of the ship back after WWII. I am from Bay Minette! Spent all my life in Baldwin County (LOVE IT) until college in Tuscaloosa (Roll Tide)! And then off to the ARMY and god knows where all they have sent me! I will be stationed at Ft. RuckeR being a flight instructor for the UH-60 Blackhawk school!

Thanks, I am leaning towards the Flybridge model (closed in bulkhead). In Hawaii I believe the open MODEL is better because the temp is always wonderful and a nice breeze. Back home (Alabama) on a humid 95 deg day on the Gulf I think It would be nice to suck up some a/c even if it is tight quarters!...
