Not much play! May a 1/4" but would have to re-check for sure. But I see what your saying and I would have never thought of that.

No soft spots! The starboard side shows just a little but not that bad. Bob- that does not sound good so I guess I need to postpone my trip to get this fixed. This is one of the few chances with work that I will be able to cut loose and get the boat to Jacksonville. Then after that I could make the ...

Damn! That does not sound good. Does anyone know someone in the Deltaville, Va area that could put one together for me? What would cause this? Should I be concerned with something else? When it does break what will be inop or tear up? Also I am attaching a little better picture! Thanks, Andy http://...

Harry- The boost pressure looked good and the engines were running very smoothly. There was hardly any smoke on start up. The discharge out the back of the boat was a little dirty for the first minute but cleared up. She turned up to 2800 RPM and still produced very little smoke. I was just a little...

One of the great things about the newer power is less weight and more compact. This engine room with 1271s is much more crowded. and about 2500lbs heavier. http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/amuh60/McMillan220.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/amuh60/McMillan217-1.jpg http://i306.ph...

I was definitely not talking about the legendary older CAT engines (3208). We have the same familiar stories about our 30 year old CAT equipment. Was and may still be cream of the crop but they definitely have the prices of cream of the crop. That used to be about all we bought. I am talking about t...

Harry- Here is a liberty ship located just off the island of Lanai (Island in Hawaii). My understanding is that they used this shoal as a "junk yard" for getting rid of the ship back after WWII. There is another one located not too far down the beach. -ANDY http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/a...

ANNIE C. SOLD! THOUGHT YALL WOULD ENJOY A FISHING VIDEO!
These were 2 Marlin hits off the North Shore of Oahu right before I sold the boat 3 weeks ago. It was a good way to end it. I looked at my log book and put 300hrs on the ANNIE C over the last 11 months! I already miss the hell out of the boat but am looking forward to purchasing a 31 when I get back...

I was looking at the very last page where it has copy right 1/69. Sounds like everyone was saying that up until 72-73 the boats were weighing in close to 15000lbs but if the date and specs on your brochure are correct it sounds like around 1/69 they were 9600lbs. Anyhow, I appreciate the brochure it...

Thanks, I am leaning towards the Flybridge model (closed in bulkhead). In Hawaii I believe the open MODEL is better because the temp is always wonderful and a nice breeze. Back home (Alabama) on a humid 95 deg day on the Gulf I think It would be nice to suck up some a/c even if it is tight quarters!...
