Brewester's crew made me lunch when I was up there and he gave me the grand tour. The food is great and the place is spotless. This is a rather large opperation with numerous live tanks for the Lobster and shell fish and a giant smoker downstairs. It's well worth a stop.

I'm meeting Doug from Aqua Lights Flordia today to pick up my lights. He made us a great deal at the Boat show. I plan putting one out the transom and 2 out the bottem for swordfishing. They will be on their own battery bank with independant switches.

I believe there are different pumps for the slow & fast hardner. The cap size on the cans will be different sizes. The pump kits come with 2 pumps for the hardner, make sure you use the right one or you will get failure. I'm speaking from experience.

I would start with the hatches and wings first & see if it helps, which it will. Insulating the bulkheads probably won't help in the cockpit. I just did my engine boxes and it made a huge difference.

Greetings UV, I think starting with a polishing compound and working toward a rubbing compound will work, just don't be too aggresive with the buffer. Drive savers are not a permanent instaliton. I believe they have a two-year life span before replacing but I may be wrong. You also have no bond to the shaft and need to run shaft brushes or run a bonding wire from the tranny flange to the coupling to complete the bond. They work great on trawlers, ...

I got filters from ZF in Melborne and yes their changed. The rebuilt one ended up un thr port side and they have been test run & ready to go. This was an amazing amount of work, not a day off ion 6 weeks but it's comming together well.

We had a water fountain in our 63 SF while underway. I glassed in 3" fiberglass tubes and went with dripless seals. It brought the boat into the 20th century. I have the old bronze logs if anyone wants them.

A gallon & a 1/2 should be enough paint to do the bottem.

I believe Bruce is in training this week and on his way to see Patrick.
I dont know if it's possiable to boost the HP that much from a 170. It would deafinatly need a new injector pump, turbo and timing gears to start with but I believe the compression ratio is higher in the 240.
