Hi all. I am running crusader older 270hp crusaders. I’m using mercruiser 40 weight oil. Someone said I should be using multiiviscosity oil, like 15w40. Was wandering what others are using and what is recommended for small block motors.thanks Mike

No it is not tape. I was there when the guy sprayed the stripe. I may sand off and just repaint with awlgrip.

Yannis , they look good. I have a 28 as well and want to put chairs on the bridge too. How are you going to mount them securely to bridge floor ? Are you going to take headliner down to thru bolt them. I really don't want to take headliner down on fear it may not go back up so easy. Thanks mIke

Thanks for your input capt. Patrick. So with that stuff I can just grind out blister , fill in with the 3m filler , sand smooth than cover with barrier coate 2000E, and finally bottom paint. Are they the correct steps. Thanks Mike W

Could some one tell me the differance in sea water strainers. I found some that have bronze rods on the out side that secure the bowl, others the bowl just screws into the bronze base. I need 1 1/4 strainers ,can someone point me in the right direction.
