One thing to keep in mind for sure with small shafts is to "GENTLY" apply throttles when getting on plain etc... or you may snap one. Also i would buy 1-1/2 bore props and use the bushings till you have the $$ to put the larger shafts in. Good luck Troy keep us posted on the results and gas consumpt...

The LS motor sucks alot of fuel and looking at the dyno sheet it is not that strong in torque at 3000-3500. Injected 502 big blocks will be faster at lower rpm's due to the torque/rpm factor.

You will create a little more power at 8degrees and the engine will be happier. Read the spark plugs.Set at 8 and install a new set then run hard for a bit let cool down and check color. they should be a nice tan/light brown color.

John.....Mine are stainless from the factory. That doesnt mean they wont go bad but will last a long time. I suggest removing the ex. hose and look up the pipe at the little water relief holes for any thin areas. You can poke around with an awl also. Regards Troy

I have the CX, CXHD, and red CX non aresol. I dipped EVERY stripped wire on the refit before crimping in the red CX and let it bleed up the wire. I was told by an avaition mechanic there is no better way.
