I concur with all things stated above. I have a pair of 3116's in my 33' Bert with 2000 hours and they are great. I also have 2 friends with the same engines in 35's and they love them. As long as you do your home work and all checks out don't be afraid of them.

I have '01 F350 with the 7.3 Has never in 10 years given me a wrinkle. I don't use the truck for hauling or work so the miles are easy ones. I expect it to last forever :) . milage is not great, 12-13 around town and 16-17 on the highway when not pushing it.

I have used "ON OFF"(I think that's what its called) Its the stuff you use on your hull to get the water line stains off. Be careful it is a mild acid but it works.
