Hey Guys, I have the yanmar 315's and the raw water pumps on both engines leak at the drive shafts . The engines have about 300 hours on them. Any suggestions as why they are leaking? Had the same problem. Decieded to go to diesel was the best option for me. I saved a piece of the old fuel take to show people. I went with a new aluminum fuel tank .25 thick and all new hoses. best of luck to you

I agree the best way to go is the yanmar and cummins. I went the Yanmar route and no matter how you cut it gonna run about 70k with you doing alot of the work yourself

Thanks Guys, The way i read the diagram is the ac ground is tied to the negative ground on the engine or the battery. That way all grounds on the boat are connected. If i am not right let me know

Tested the boat with the new yanmars. Got 3850 rpms at wot and the yard wants 3900. Will adjust the props a little and back in the water next week and will be taking the boat home Friday. I use the Collinite cleaner and wax and it works great. The wax stays on and last all season. Is a little pricey but worth it. The wax seems to hold up real well all season
