I would also recommend Raybo for fiberglass and paint work.
I am not sure if Rob will undertake the mechanical areas for a restoration or a repower.

Depending on where you are located, local fabrication is preferred. I did mine in aluminum and coated in coal tar epoxy.

Will try to get you a pic, but mine fills at the tank, no deck fill. If i had a deck fill would probably take out , I like it clean.

JP,
Just curious on how you target whites over tuna? Any insight would be appreciated.
Primarily fishing Hudson-Block, maybe they are just not there, but haven't heard of any landings in recent past. It was the target species when I first fished Hudson way back in 1970!

What is good about the Holmsey piece is that it is double skinned--so you have a finished surface for the interior as well.
A friend bought the mold from Glastech which had raw fiberglass on the inside.

Besides the money, it really comes down to how are you going to use the boat? How many hours a season and how many trips will need that kind of range? Also, if you plan on doing any service yourself? Although every year I promise myself to use the boat more, I am probably down to 50 hours a season. ...

Understand internal strainers take up a lot of room, but if you delete them not really sure what you are doing with that space.
I also perfer the internal strainers, it is a routine with me, checking fluids, stuffing boxes, and strainers after every trip.
