I have a fighting chair that has a teak footrest. The teak was refinished by the factory and I believe they used multiple applications of polyurethane --there is a small edge that has worn through to the wood, what is the best way to fix, short of stripping and refinishing?

I saw this boat when it was just completed, it was docked at Oaklands ---looked really nice and a lot of $$ was invested.

Bertram licensed Riva to build 20 foot Bahia Mars and 25 foot Flybridge boats----the 20 looked the same as USA versions---25 were modified---I think all the 25's were v-drives.

Regarding shaft tubes---the seem to be more trouble than they are worth. I know of a couple of boats that were retrofitted with them, that eventually went back to standard shafts. I really don't know what the problem was, I am speculating it was alignment issues.

Speaking of a Cubavich, I was at Carvers boat yard in New Jersey in the Spring and saw a very nice 28 ---its hard to get the proportions right on a small fly-bridge boat, but it was very sharp.
