For anybody that has seen the renderings---I am hoping that the 35 will be a cross between a Blackfin 32/33 and a Liberty 42, low profile with motor boxes---is it anything close?

I was considering removal of the rear bulkhead---but decided to go with big windows and no door----really opened up the cabin and kept the support.

I concur with keeping it thinner----I tried a thicker material with formica and I cracked it trying to get it in place.

I plan on redoing some/all my bonding wires---any suggestions for the secondary wire---what gauge?

Regarding pods----I noticed that all the custom boat builders jumped on this and built a few---but most of the new builds seem to be conventional shafts--with little talk about them--what's the final verdict on pods for fishing boats?.....maintenance?...

My boat started as a FBC---I removed the door and stand-up head ------still have a bulkhead with the largest windows I could make.
The front windows were glassed in --so I needed to open it up as much as possible.

Reminds me of the 37 Merritt that was re-powered with big diesels that required additional flotation----owner (Pope-National Enquirer) dumped big $$$ but boat never ran right. I think all 37's were built with gas --later updated with various diesels ----I think Do Stay out of Jupiter is the only one...

No substitute for cubic inches---454 and 496 are the way to go for gas----on paper the 6.0 looks good, but in the real world

I regularly ship boxes to Hong Kong---I use Express Mail from US Post office---very dependable and cheaper than the private carriers.

I took the dinette out of mine and made a day bed with underneath storage---on the port side took out the standup head and made a u-shaped galley---moved the head into v-berth (it's a day boat)---
