3M does sell air cooled suits such as the versaflo, but its tough to beat the large fan behind you like Pat pictured.

of course its cheaper to let someone else take the hit, but also keep in mind that when viewed in person most of these boats are not as appealing as they would seem in the ads. Maybe go and check a few out and see what you can REALLY get for your money.

Bob- now you are talking about spraying gelcoat for purpose of a primer, if thats the case spray something else like a epoxy primer or even some duratech. Or just spray the gelcoat and leave it be, in a few years when you want to recoat sand it and apply the finish of your choice.

bob- if you are rolling that gelcoat im sure you know it needs to be sanded, and sanding rolled gelcoat is a terrible, terrible job. Rolling a single coat usually does not give you the build you need to achieve a good finish either, rolling multiple coats without sanding in between you have to get c...

these guys lowered their prices but really jacked their shipping charges up. this is amazing though that a larger boat that is not advertised as "unsinkable" made it that far that long. Earlier ones had a flawed cockpit drainage setup where quite a few sunk right at their docks. Makes you wonder if Regulator will use this in their advertising, if I were them I would get that...

gloss paint will reflect heat, repel dirt, and be easier to clean then a flatter finish. I would really think it over if that gloss bothers you or not.
