Had great luck with Azek. You can buy sheets and it cuts very easily. I even replaced the curved toe plate that the bottom of the pane screws unto with some thicker Azek material. Bends easily to the original curvature.
Having trouble with photo bucket now or I would send you some shots.

Stephen- I T stripped off all the main functional areas on mine. From breaker panel, each engine,bridge...ect
My feeling is that it allows you to break your wireing system into modules, and makes assembly, reassembly much easier.

I used 2 deka 8d's for my 504's. I replaced my cable terminations, and crimped and soldered the replacement connectors. This helped imensely. My batteries were seperated except for starting.

Stephen- If it were me, I would run redundant systems. You can have a great feel for you engines, but your ear will not be able to detect subtle changes in temp or oil pressure. Example .....raw water heat exchanger starts to plug up...subtle temp rise indicates somthing is not right, but not enough...

Yup...my boat. Hard to look at it. I think very repairable for the right person. Engines were 504 cummins. Ran great, but heavy , relatively slow, and not the greatest fuel efficiency.
