These picnic boats. Last season I was cruising inside the bay when I noticed a picnic boat gaining on me. Never one to shake off a race, I throttled up and was WOT as he passed to stbd. They were laughing, my wife screaming, so what to do?
I give 'em the finger.

Maybe, just maybe ...
The other night on the tv there was a blurb from some waco from the World Food Bank that said that so much corn is being used for e-10 that the price of food has sky rocketed upward. The message was that this will starve the poor nations around the world. We, the boating community will not stop e-10...

I would close the intake valve where the raw water comes into the boat. Take the hose off the valve. Open that valve. The water should flow in big time. If it dosen't, then there is something clogged there. Time for a swim! OR take the hoses off that goes into the risers. Start the engine and see if...

Randall, too much steam could be that the manifolds/risers/end caps are not torqued enough. I had a steam problem ( Maureen says look at the white smoke coming out) and it wasn't that bad. But the fresh water cooling system needed extra coolant on each trip. Retightened the risers on the port engine...
