Every Mothers Day the boat goes to Fire Island ( six mile trip) for lunch. At least 12 + 3 little kids ... no problem. This is in the Great South Bay in N.Y. Waves hardly ever get to three feet. I was going to have 18 one time and this board said it was too many. I listen to this board!

We have a Bahia Mar with a fiber glass top over the helm and engines. The top is 20 yrs old and has crazing in a few spots. And in some places the crazing is such that the gel coat is lifting off. Getting back to the topic, I have a mooring at Fair Harbor for any and everybody to use. I drop the family off at the dock, tie up to the mooring and swim in. The nude beach ..... twenty yrs ago my son had a body board contest next to this beach. The perverts had to stand up and walk around. There were familys and such there. Most of them were gays ( the nudist, that is). Maybe this is why many are against same sex marriage. HIV to them all.

Most yards on Long Island(NY) use SIKKENS Cetol Marine finish. There is a light, a dark and then you finish with a clear top coat. I would use the light color. Too many yrs of dark really make it dark.
