Re: Sprint car racing accident, driver on track killed

I would find it hard to believe as a result of this that track owners and sanctioning bodies will no longer allow driver to get out onto the race track after a wreck unless the car is on fire Seems the cooler heads decided to implement new rules. We'll see how serious they are when the first driver...

Re: It may be time! Engine troubles

Those are yanmar 315s? Maintenance is that costly I guess. The one in the pic is off a stern drive. Being a stern drive, the hatches or boxes don't fit tight and drain well and usually the back joint is right over the engine exhaust outlet. It was rare to have a stern drive diesel setup that didn't...

Boats will sell. But the price isn't great but in turn that gets a great deal on a upgrade.

Peter,
Even if you got 20k for your boat and bought Walters, that would in essence get you a diesel conversion with good engines for cheap.

Frankly there is liability on both parts here. Track owners and sanctioning bodies in circle track racing have long allowed competitors after rubbing accidents to remove themselves from their cars and confront the drivers who they thought were the cause of a wreck. It sells tickets period. Unless a ...

With no power on, you can use a tone generator(like what the phone company used) and a probe to find the short. You put the tone generator on one end of a known shorted line and then probe the other ends of circuit to find tone and identify the circuit.

They recommend 1/2 tubing so it doesn't interfere with the flow rate specs. By using smaller tubing you may experience more turns of the wheel to hard over than what they may state as specs. Pressure also increases slightly using smaller tubing.

That system is much more than what the 31 needs.
