Walter,
Recieved your books. All I can say is they are awesome.
Forget the recipe's. The book itself is a work of art.
Even if one doesn't cook, the book will make a fabulous table book.
Thanks Bruce

Pat, I wouldn't recomend using anything but a motor type of brush as the contact between the shaft due to the conductivity and the slow wear. Using an actual piece of bronze will wear down much quicker and the casting leaves very tiny pockets of air which will reduce conductivity on the face. Copper...

Sean, The majority of boats don't use shaft brushes and too many zincs can cause a problem also. That is why you should have the boat from time to time checked with a Kapoc type corrosion meter which reads galvanic action. It also has to do with the boats around you and the marina your in and whethe...

Cudos to Bennett trim tabs
In my world very rare is a company that displays good customer service on its products without having to act like an 8 year old kid in a grocery store. Bennett trim tabs really helped out in a situation they didn't need to. Especially since the Turkish boat maker modified the crap out of their syste...

H.R. 2550 In its original form, it was to prevent commercial vessels from introducing non native species from ballast tank discharges. I've been working on a Hinkley clone, Yanmar 440 twins with Hamilton jet drives. I realized just how round the bottom was on a sea trial. I had to make a sharp turn and back again. There's no diesel on the market that is as quiet as a gasser. Not unless you own a gasser with a serious valve clatter. The pro side of having an automatic in your engine boxes is the hazzard of lifting the boxes and adding instant accelerant(air) to a small smoldering fire. A common problem to those compressors(swing type design) is that they break and won't pump freon but the motor runs. They have no factory supplied charging valve.
