Aetna makes good digital tachs. Make sure you get LCD, not LED which is real hard to see in sun light.

I buy direct from Aetna and have sold a bunch to the coast guard till they found out they could order direct also and save money.

Pat, I wouldn't recomend using anything but a motor type of brush as the contact between the shaft due to the conductivity and the slow wear. Keep me out of this.

I had a chance this week to go by Cobra power in Miami and talk to Randy.

Quite the setup. Went thru the engine build area and they had 1/2 dozen go fast engines on stands being built or repaired. Ranged from 900 to 1200hp.

About 500/hr to run. Just engine cost.

I have used an MAB paint called PLY Tile. Its a two part and can be tinted in just about any color.

Comes in two 1 gallon(hardener and color) cans and works great. It is mixed 1:1 and any amount can be used.

100 bucks for the two gallons.
