Frank,
Many of the engines on large vessels I worked on had refiners, purifiners, centrifuges or what ever you want to call them for oil and fuel to seperate particulates.

Kevin, Setting up a 2000 network is simple. Very little actual programming, its almost a plug and play system with just a bit of setting up depending on the device. Its funny how over time I saw many boats gain quite a bit of weight and complaints from the owners that the engines didn't run proper rpm and that I needed to look at them. I'd step on boat, take one look at the twinky and maple syrup pancake diet the boat was on and exclaim there's nothing wrong wi...

Happy resurrection day. Over the years pagan holidays and religious holidays have gotten intertwined. What it boils down to is who you worship on those holidays. John,
Make sure you get the sweep 90's and not the sharp 90's. Less chance of back pressure and sharp 90's in hydro dynamics is like adding 15' of straight hose in resistance value.

Unusual to have racers on a boat unless there is a rat or mice issue.

On marine gas mechanical fuel pumps the normally open vent hole has a barb and a hose that runs up to the side of the carb to prevent that fuel from going into the bilge and going boom if the diaphragm gets a hole or ruptures. Best way is use a tinned butt splice between the cables and solder. Then use glue heat shrink, then wrap with the appropriate color good grade electrical tape 4 or so wraps.

Unless the transducer has been built up over where access is next o impossible, pull it and use the hole for the new one if it will work or glass over and drill new hole.
Old transducers are not hard at all to get out.
I just hate the can't do attitude of most marine places.
