Yes, they are. They don't have the stiffness of poles with guy wires, but I like the flex. They take 8 seconds to deploy (each). I think that they were white. I painted them black.

Run toward the canyon and pull up about 4 miles short. Transfer fuel. Start trolling with a full tank. Never wait. If the weather turns, you may not be able to do it without getting a bunch of water in the tank.

Being in the canyon with a full tank is a good feeling.....

Went to the Hudson Canyon. Twenty two hours, three hundred miles, two hundred gallons of fuel.

Had a marlin on for about a minute. Caught one Mahi (about 20 pounds).

Had a great day.

Unless you use schedule 40 stainless, you're going to have a tough time tightening the hose clamps enough without crushing the pipe. Remember, hose is clamped to a heavy internal (BARBED) fitting. You're going to try to clamp to the stainless. Schedule 10 pipe may crush (or worse, come apart). Also ...
