I installed an air locker on the rear end of the truck. The unit is made by ARB in Austrailia. The compressor has a valve body that's tapped (metric) for an air chuck, which doesn't accept standard size hose fittings.

I want to change the chuck, so I need to go from 8mm (I think) to 1/4".

Conversion Bushings

Does anyone have a source for brass bushings that will fit into a metric tap and are then tapped for standard IPS inside?

If not, does anyone have a few inches of six or eight sided, 3/4 or 1 inch brass bar stock?

E-Diesel

Had a problem with the oil burner in my house this week, so I had 'the guy' come fix it. We got to talking, and he says that he thinks there is ethanol in the #2 fuel oil already.

I don't know if it's true, or what it means to us with diesel engines and fiberglass tanks......but it's a scary thought.

I think that the Wolverine heaters are great, but you'll probably need to lift the engines in order to remove the oil pans so that you can remove the paint from the spots where the heaters are going. Heating the oil is a better way of pre-heating the engine than a non-circulating coolant heater, so ...
