I have an LED mast head light. Although it wasn't properly sealed, it keeps on ticking. It can be seen for miles, and I never turn it off....

Right now I'm running 21X23 3 blade, but think that I'm a little over-proped. I liked my 20x22 4 blade props better. When they turned to swiss cheese in a poorly grounded marina, I got the bigger ones....and have been too lazy or too cheap to get another pair of fours.

I saw the Texas boat. It had.......issues. The chine that had been installed was looking pretty ratty. Like it would come off on the next wave. They wanted big money for it, too.

I think it may have been at the same marina as the Hatt that broke in half......

My experience has been that the threes give a higher top speed and are cheaper to purchase. The fours are smoother running, get a better bite coming out of the hole, and throw a better 6.5 knot wake pattern for trolling. I also feel that they work a little better in reverse, because you can trade so...

Back in the day.....they used to make screwdrivers out of tool steel, and they had a 'full tang'. With one of those and a hammer, you could build a railroad or tear down a house.

Now they make hammers out of plastic......

170 HP is a little light, but if you never have to make more than 17 knots you should be OK.

220 is really the low end for reasonable performance for these boats, but if you really just spend 95 percent of your time trolling, what difference does it make.....

Nah, that Ford 7.3 liter is a 600,000 mile engine all day long. I have one and I love it. I also have a 6.0 liter. It seems to manufacture about a quart of oil avery 3500 miles.

Think Ford will fix it?
