Picked up new flares today. Me too. Actually ordered an offshore SOLAS pack too. Pricey, but there's a huge difference between aerial flares that go up 300 feet and burn for seven seconds, and ones that go 1000 feet and burn for forty seconds. Andre, Trey and I just got back from Bolivia.

Andre and I each killed 4000 doves. Trey killed 7500 doves, and 4 turkey vultures.

Uncle Vic was declared the winner, with an amazing 25000 doves, 32 brown pelicans, 7 bald eagles, and 2 ruby throated hummingbirds.

Was there ever any doubt?

You might also try to remove the plate on top of the tank and check how much water you have in there. I believe that algee indicates water. Take a stick and put some water paste on it. When I had 454's, 60 miles out was pushing it, and I have a 231 gallon tank. I usually averaged .70 mpg.

120 miles at 18 knots and 6 hours trolling was right at 190 - 200 gallons, depending on conditions. I always brought 30 gallons in jugs.
