I have found that it can be tough to accomplish what you are trying to, but it can be done. Duck down out of the wind, and learn to feel the vibrations. Both are helpful.

To add to what Vic says, Don't ever leave teak oil drips on the fiberglass. it will stain it.

You can use a brush, but carry a rag and be careful of splatter. For the very reason just mentioned.

And he is completely right. NEVER, EVER PRESSURE WASH TEAK.

Peter and all, I believe the raft to be priority #1. My take.

Again, I would choose Switlik first. I had to retire the 20 plus year old one a couple years ago. I bought a used one on the condition it passed inspection. Valise pack, MD-2 I think. 6 man. Huge, solid, and passed like new.

I have one 8-D that I use for house power only. It lives a pretty tough life due to a number of factors.

Do you think it would be advantageous for me to convert the 8-D to 3 Group 34's? More capacity, and hence longer life?
