Woody wax works pretty well also. Patricks method is the right way to go, but the Woody Wax is pretty close. A bit less work, but not going to be quite the same result as Patricks process.

Teak care
Alchemy is supposed to launch this coming week, and all the spring polishing is done for the fiberglass. She looks pretty good so far. What I have left is the Woody Wax on the aluminum and then the annual teak triage. I am a lifelong devotee of Tip Top Teak oil. This product is not available anymore...

Bob, Thanks. Much appreciated. I may scour the earth for the remaining stuff, or just try leaving it dry for the first time ever. Patrick, what is the 50/50 mix again? Water and Vinegar? I can't remember. It leaves that nice blonde look... Anyway as a lifetime oiler of teak, I am really on virgin te...

I am a big fan of Godfrey zincs. They have a bronze core ring that completely surrounds the shaft and the fasteners attach through that ring. The zinc cannot loosen or fall off. Trump marina to become Margaritaville!
This should make life interesting in Atlantic city, for the future anyway. Looks like Trump Marina was agreed to be sold this morning. Craig, Buy one or two of those solar powered vent fans you see on some boat hatches, and put them into the shrink wrap. That will draw air in and through the enclosure on a constant basis.
