:) No worries Ed! As Scott said, we all friends here! Giants had a solid win over the weekend too if I recall! there are a few really good solid teams out there. Parity seems to be the way it is at the top. That being said, we should enjoy it while we can, as I think there may not be football next y...

Bad idea to bet against them at home...

Now Ed, don't you think that was a bit of an over reaction to what Scott said? Up here in NE, and I am sure down there in NY, we have been subjected to the media hype (Yes, media hype, not hype created by the teams themselves) about how this is the ultimate grudge match, the biggest rivalry in sport...

Pete, my only fear is that if a diesel inhales that stuff (not Halon) I have heard it will kill the engine. Not shut it down, but kill it.

I have been afraid to re-mount due to the risk of an accidental discharge.

What do you think?

Mike, I like that idea! Brew, it isn't intolerable if you negotiate in advance for a group rate. It was about the same as everywhere else we have gone. I did like Greenport, it was a great spot. Greenport was pretty damned good. I would vote for Newport, RI however. 2 reasons. 1) Variety is the spice of life. 2) We had virtually no one from north of RI, and there are a lot of boats up there! Do you want it to be able to include those from MA once in while? If Newport is a possibility, we ou...

Pete, if you are really worried about the hailing port, I would slap some shrink wrap tape over it. It will need to be cleaned with goo gone in the spring, but easier than if it were duct tape residue. You will need to clean in prep for the new port anyway.

Double hose clamps are right. Only additional info I would add is to ensure that the clamps are opposing each other. So put them on, but have the screw thingy on one on the opposide side of the hose from the other.

Peter, The B31 hull is not the most efficient hull out there. That means it takes power to push it through the water. With your small props you more than likely have effects of cavitation instead of corrosion, though you never know. The cavitation will eat little holes in the trailing edge of the bl...

I would assume that the "flanges" are the plates that connect the transmission to the shaft. You want the faces flat so they match up well, making aligning the engines a bit easier.
