When you look and feel the hull through the carpet it doesn't seem possible that enough room exists for the railing nuts to be accessible.
I pulled the carpet down today and you guys were 100% right.

Vicroy, This is the cockpit sole deck [I think it's called]. The entire deck is 6' x 8' the repair is about 8' across and varies from 6" to 20" it goes in and around the hatch openings. I was asking the same question a while ago. I'm not sure if its right but I went with an insulated #6 tinned wire. no splices [a continuous loop] I stripped and folded the wire and solder in a battery type lug at the intermediate bonding points. Then I intend to coat the connections.

I just changed my rear seal, took about 3 hours. Make sure you have enough room when you slide the shaft back . I had to use a socket and pipe wrenches, the ratchet would not fit. Good luck.

Hi guys, The new tank will be narrower then the original [remove old tank sides]. This will allow my saddle tanks to be mounted better and go beyond the original [more gas], but will be easily removed for if necessary strut, etc, repairs.

I spoke to a guy that sells the material for relining. He said that it is good for 10% ethenal only. I heard this 10% may eventually be increased.

I figured why not install the 3 tanks where at most only the center tank may require replacement which would be an easy replacement.

This boat was on land for 5 years with an almost empty tank. I figure no ethenal in the tank. I dont want to wait for a problem tp show up at the worst possible time. You can see this project at any time.

Vicroy, Thanks I will also look into the honda 50cc's. I can only imagine the scene being a divorce attorney, however I quit smoking 18 years ago. To keep from going back I traded my lawn mower for a gardener. Possibly the best decision I ever made.
