Re: Goodbye Faithful...
Capt. Pat, Been a long time and shocked to hear of the news. Because of you, your work on this site and your passion for the 31 I've met some amazing people, made the best of friends and most importantly became a lot closer to my father the past 10 years of his life. I can't thank you enough for that...

Re: Uncle Vic
My favorite Uncle Vic line came many years ago at the Flop House. In fact my buddies still bring it up and laugh about it. Somehow the subject of toilet paper came up and UV made a comment "that using cheap toilet paper is like wiping your ass with wax paper."

UV was the stuff legends were made of. People from near and far knew of him and he was easy to find at any Bertram function or boat show, just look for the largest group of people and UV was in the center. UV was one of Ahab's favorite people for sure... In true UV fashion even is obituary made me s...

Accepted the offer, survey went well, money wired and I am now boatless! 10 years of ownership, bought from the original owner, countless memories, new friends and now it is time to take a break from boating for a while. Boat will be going to NC and sounds like she will have a well cared for pampere...

Thanks for the replies. I can't see the downside to Cummins either. People ask me what is the worst case scenario that can happen with these engines and I don't know how to answer them since I have had no issues with the engines. I guess a blown turbo? I think at the price I am asking it incorporate...

I am biased towards the Cummins as well. I've had them for 7 years now and only needed to replace the starboard fuel pump 2 seasons ago. Other than that, change oil, change zincs, keep rust off of em and they are good to go. The question that comes up with my boat is I bought the diesels in 2002 as ...

There is no writing on the boat which states the number of people allowed or max weight. Anyone know how many people are allowed/permitted on a 31?
