Re: Shakedown run, wheel question and searching for Bertram Flybridge Side Steps
Tony, with weather window and work schedule, I was hoping to run her back first thing Fri am. Deb said they were shooting to be finished Thurs, then put her in and run her Thurs. Fingers crossed.

Craig, split my time between Port Washington and Southold. The Bertram will be kept in Greenport.

Re: Shakedown run, wheel question and searching for Bertram Flybridge Side Steps
Tony, They are definitely the upgraded larger rudders ( my last 31 had the originals). This boat was very well maintained, I am the third owner. Extensive upkeep and upgrades were done by previous owner, including the Cummins 270's, tower and hardtop, upgraded rubrail, rupp outriggers, 6 inch exhaus...

Re: Shakedown run, wheel question and searching for Bertram Flybridge Side Steps
Thanks for the reply guys. Tony, my last 31 was a FBC, and had the standard dinette on port, stand up head, counter and sink starboard. I found it nice, but not really needed for my needs. I was looking recently for a Sportfish , no bulkhead, open interior, open layout, etc. This 31 is extremely bri...

Shakedown run, wheel question and searching for Bertram Flybridge Side Steps
Boat was moved from Point Pleasant to Forked River Diesel on Friday, engines ran beautifully, albeit underpropped (Cummins 270's spinning at 2800 rpm....cruised at 21 kts at 2000 rpm with Michigan 4 blade 20 x 22 wheels). I spoke with Tony already, might have to add some pitch to get desired cruise ...

Re: B31 search update...
Thank you all for the welcome and kind words. My previous 31 had the 6Bts 210, and I liked them very much. I was hoping to find the 6BTA's at 270, because of the simplicity and the added HP. Tony, I am bringing the boat to John tomorrow, Friday. Am a little nervous; I am unfamiliar with the water fr...

B31 search update...
Fellas, It worked out after all, and I will be closing on the B31 Joanies Three (surveyed in August) this Friday. Beyond excited. After the closing, John Lane and Forked River Diesel will be performing the 1000 hr service (the Cummins 6BTA 270's are about 875 right now), and then she will brought to...

Re: Jersey 31 owners...and Hello
Thanks for the Welcome home again, gents. So unfortunately the 31 I was looking at did not meet my expectations after survey. So I am still actively looking. If anyone has any leads on a well appointed, Diesel 31 Sportfish first choice, FBC next in line) in very good condition, I am all ears. Cummin...
