That's some good info...thanks!! The raw water intake hose has a frayed end, it's in crappy shape. I had no idea air needed to be bled from the cooling system!! (ahem). I've had a Dodge 3/4 ton diesel, and I've had a Ford 3/4 ton diesel. The Dodge looks much better. But the 325 hp ford? Yahoooo! That sucker would smoke the tires all the way down the block......stock. 20 mpg on the highway in a 7300 lb truck? nice.

I would agree BUT for the engine only turning 2500 w/ a much smaller wheel on the boat. It now revs up much faster, but only to 2500. Smaller wheel, more revs, right?

I will be interested to see the no load revs. Will do it as soon as the monsoon is over. :)
