Phoenix was started by a group that left bertram. I owned a 1986 27 Phoenix and can tell you first hand it is a tough little boat. Finshed nicer than both bertrams I owned. Just got done sanding the teak and holly sole. Was able to get old finish off with out going through vennier. Has anyone tried minwax poly for thier floors or should I go the epoxy then varnish route?? Thanks..John

I went to the full garmin setup this spring..3010, 4kw radar and the new sounder and can say it works great.. The radar is impressive and I have owned both furuno and raytheon in the past..The plotter is flat out the best I have ever seen.. John
