Not a great pic, but if you zoom in you can see the set up. I have trim tabs, because my dad liked them, but they are mounted outboard of the rudders, not above them.

Glad to be back on the board, nice to see the community is still going strong. As Carl mentioned my dad had a boat built with transom mounted struts. THe boat is powered with Yanmar 315s, the last of the mechancical control version that Mastry had in stock. On that boat the engines have been shifted...
