Good point Patrick. Have terminal covers as a result of a courtesy inspection by the authorities. Also have nothing connected directly to the batteries except the terminals. All other connections are made remotely as pointed out by brother Bruce.

I have what looks like the Attwood 8" on Dreamsicle because I got tired of broken toes. Found them on the internet (probably Ebay) and they are truly flush. One of the small but great changes made. They do require a drain, mine drain into Capt. Pat's induction air boxes. Pictures on request.

Our West coast connection, Tony, did this exhaust for my 300 Cummins. All five inch and with mufflers. Fits snugly, no change to the Cabrera engine boxes. Not sure you have room for 2" foam. You still want to be able to remove the box. Maybe on the bottom and one side, I'd choose the side with the exhaust for insulation and buy more ice.
