Dreamsicle is a "hardtop" express, the only one that seems to have survived, although I have heard rumors that others are around. Anyway the reason so few remain as hardtops is that the rear supports were flimsy and the top eventually racked from side to side and trashed the upper windshield frame. ...

I bought an antique Studebaker once with frozen engine. Removed oil pan and raised the engine and car with a jack under one rising piston by putting it on the crank. Pulled the plugs and pour Marvel Mystery oil down all cylinders. Several day later the car was back on the floor and the engine free. ...

Smile

A man came home and was greeted by his wife dressed in a very sexy nightie.
'Tie me up,' she purred, 'and do anything you want.'
So he tied her up and went fishing.

Electronics are great but we have grown to depend on them too much. When they crap out (note not 'if' but 'when') what then? Get the electronic but have the Constellation rebuilt. Looking at it today I realized that is exactly what I had on the blow boat. She was built in '59.

I don't see a stand chain in any of the pictures. I know most yards think that only blow boats need chaining. I wouldn't put mine on stands without chains that are tight enough to hold them together. Chains don't guarantee anything, but they are cheap insurance.

As much as I love the grill (prefer weber, have three different sizes for different things) I think for searing tuna I have better control with a skillet on a range. A great exhaust fan is a must, or earplugs for the verbal assault.
