Hey yeah! Import duty on boats and marine goods has actually just been lowered in Bermuda for the first time that I can remember. It has just gone down to 22.5% from 55%!!!

All to do with the recession but boat duty was an odd tax to cut we all think.

But we ain't complaining!!!!!

Folks,

almost all gens are mounted outboard of the port engine. I measured a friend's boat with 370 6bta Cummins and found more room outboard of the starboard engine. Is there another reason for prefering the Port side placement that i am not aware of?

So Pat, I will use the ply as I am not a titanium kinda guy!

Would 2 pieces of 1/2 inch ply bonded with biaxial be ok for the strut pad?

Also how big do the pads need to be minimum?

Hi Guys,

I'm stuck here in Bermuda. I've got some Imron touch up paint and went to get the activator for it and the agent no longer brings it in!!

Does anyone know if any other activator would work? After all there are other polyurethane paints here ie Alwgrip etc.

Really stuck down here!
