I have some windows
Hi, I actually ordered the aft cabin windows for the B31 from American Marine some years ago. I never installed them and they are still in their original packing crate. If you need these let me know. They are just in my way now. Problem is they are here in Bermuda so shipping would be quite expensive...

flybridge windshield fastenings
Gentlemen, Boat's in the water and I'm still just putting the finishing touches. I am trying to put the original flybridge windscreen back. I think I have the original metal fastenings for it that go through the holes along the windshield base which then anchor it to the flybridge proper. I have had...

Hi All, 1 year later and she finally has the engines in with all thru hulls and rigging done! All she needs now is the body work and re spray. This will be done with Imron matching the Awlgrip Oyster White. Not a scrap of wood used in the cockpit etc sub structure (all laminated foam core and pvc bo...

Gentlemen, I need help with 2 issues from the faithful: I am installing the cummins 370's and on the starboard install the exhaust extractor has to be modified if the exhaust is to exit without emerging from with either the engine box or from under the cockpit floor. I am sure some of you have had t...

Hey thanks Kevin. I was worried as some of those sales guys at the boat show will say anything to sell something. He said it worked as good as a 16btu. I have a friend with a 12btu of another label in his sedan in Bermuda and it struggles a bit on a hot day here. The wabasto is supposed to have a mo...

Pat and Brethren, The bermuda rebuild is coming right along. Bought loads of stuff at the Miami Boat show -NextGen gen, 1200 btu Webasto AC (should have asked you guys first), Xantrex 2500 inverter/charger and even a new toilet. I've imported all the Imron paint and primer, soundown and nicer engine...

thanks guys, And Pat I have your air boxes too so I guess the 5.5 definitely won't fit. Also Pat, was thinking of installing the battery bank aft of the fuel tank to get as much weight in the back as possible for the sake of the 370's. I accept that this is not a good location for a genset but I tho...

Will the 3.4 kw NextGen be ok to power a 16000 btu AC? Is there any benefit to installing a larger more powerful genset if I only plan to run AC (how bout...

clearcoat over teak and holly
Gentlemen, I am in the process of ordering my Imron from Finish masters in jacksonville. Thought i'd order the clearcote for the teak and holly sole at same time. Imron offers a 2 part polyurethane clear that specifically goes over wood. I was going to epoxy coat the sole first with west system and ...

Hi Guys! Will be running probably a Cruisair 16000BTU and thus a generator to power it. Was thinking about the small Panda 4kw unit and placing it in the space at the rear of the fuel tank in order to a). keep as much weight at the back of the boat as possible and b). have the noise as far away from...

Hey guys and Pat,
I was wondering if the use of pvc board as the core material for the strut backing plates would be acceptable in place of plywood?
If so what thicknes board, how many layers and what size/area plate to use?

Hey guys didn't get much of a response to my Imron question on a prior post. I sprayed my B25 with Imron (maybe Imron 5000 I think?) about 5 years ago and swear by the stuff! Hey Guys' Thanks for your responses. Imron activator
Hi Guys,
I'm stuck here in Bermuda. I've got some Imron touch up paint and went to get the activator for it and the agent no longer brings it in!!
Does anyone know if any other activator would work? After all there are other polyurethane paints here ie Alwgrip etc.
Really stuck down here!
