Re: Searching for a diesel 31
Thinking about selling. I unfortunately don't use it that much anymore. She has 300hp 6bta M2's. New paint (that I did myself so it is an 8/10). I removed the bathroom and made a bench seat. The rest of the interior is original. Air conditioner. No generator. Some rot in the bulkheads needs to be ad...

I am looking for a product that I can spray into a mould and lay up epoxy/fiberglass onto the sprayed in material so when I remove the piece from the mold, the sprayed in materiel would be the finished top coat. Re: Flange/coupler bolts
Could have sworn mine bolts were metric. Inspect the gearbox coupling "centering ring??" prior to reassembly. When my bolts sheared, the centering ring got a small ding in it that prevented me from aligning the shaft. Took me forever to figure out the issue. Had to file the defect down.

Re: Shaft advice
I'm curious -- how did the shaft shop determine that the shafts needed to be replaced? As a side note, most of the shrimpers in Louisiana use Aquamet 19. Since they run their boats frequently, they don't have the crevice corrosion in at the cutless bearing that Carl mentions above.

I used a harmonic balance puller. There is some risk of deforming the coupling flange, but I never had a problem. I found that putting the coupling back on was actually harder.
