What I thought was interesting, the captains and deck hands attend a school run by TSL where they them teach English. From like 5-7 every week day, they run a tight schedule getting up like at 3 AM every day.

Owners of documented vessels just got a letter (including me) from the State of Louisiana stating now the boat must be state registered too. Feds gave/sold their mailing list to state, I guess.

Kipp,
RR lists to starboard because of gen set.
I use saddle tanks to offset when I can, but never noticed anything underway when I can't.
I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, He's a trip. Glad a good time was had. His boat is really finished out for fishing Cabo and his slip is in a great spot. Next time I go I'm gonna call him for sure.

Well, eleven days without power certainly was not fun. But I feel for the Ike victims and especially for the poor souls in Cuba, Haiti and other poor islands who were hammered and don't have much support (if any).
