Thanks All, if feels good to do some fishing again. I'll see about getting some fresh wasabbi & do some raw. I'll eat it that way, but others want it cooked. Walter, Thanks for the marinade tip, that's my kind of simple. I do have some Itialian dressing and may try one with vidilia-onion dressing. b...

Bluefin Tuna -- OC MD
I had the chance to fish offshore OC MD this weekend with a friend and with then canyon forecast a little rough, we headed to the hambone for Bluefin and were not dissapointed. Though most around the 30in size we went 6 for 7 on the day and kept our 1 as allowed. So i've got BF Steaks looking for so...

Mack, I'm not sure about capacity, but I know me, Doug & Harv in the back of a detroit powered B31 is something that shouldn't be done for very long... btw, looks like Wednesday's canceled and the flyover on Friday at graduation may be as well... http://www.navytimes.com/news/2011/05/navy-blue-angel...

Durning my repower I didn't consider battery cable type/size, length, location and such. So I got real surprised that it was over $2500 just in materials to run the 5ft or so from the battery location in front of the motors with cable big enough to turn the 3126's. Just another one of those unexpect...

Great Thread! Unlike most here I didn't know much about bertrams before I bought one. Anyway, I stumbled on bertram31.com the summer of 2000, a few months after I had just became the steward of a gas powered B35 (like I said, I didn't know much before buying) which was in need of a little TLC... to ...

Since my re-power I've used Interlux Tri-Lux with good results. Bob, Thanks for the clarity! I too had heard to use only single 30wt oil for the CAT 3116/3126 but not to the detail you explained. My motors are 1998 vintage, so I'm not sure if they have the updated turbo.. so as long as the single wt is working I'll go with that and may give the texaco oil a try ...

I'll not use the older "T" oil I'll just keep it for emergency or something. Then next oil change I'll just go with CAT SAEO oil, Alban CAT is only a few miles from w...

I used Interlux Perfection on the bulkhead of my B35 last summer when I installed a new door.
