My exhaust was done in the same maner as JP described and was first tack'd in place using plexis adheasive.

I know enough about the chemistry to be dangerous but I too have heard the warnings about not trying to bond polyester to existing epoxy FG.

You're on the right track. Diese may be over rated for you uses/budget.

I recently repowered to diesele and while I love every aspect of it, I can't say it was financiallialy worth it Treated right those gas engines should give you several thousand hours of service.

Gary, this is good advise, as always.

I have to say the bigest shock of my repower was adding up the cost of parts for wiring batteries to turn my CAT's. In total I think it was over $2k, keeping in mind I had some long runs to the starters.

I envy the simplicty of the B31 wiring.....

I picked up one just before thanksgiving, it worked great.

As for pricing, I got the 200W (4.3 screen) and it was $159, the 200 (3.5 screen) was $119. Being use to a bigger display on my boat I didn't want a smaller screen.

I used a brand of pvc board I got from yard to remake the panels on my flybridge and fwd cocpit area. Not much on rigidity but holds a screw well. It was $80 for a 4x8 1/4" 3 years ago (not sure if that was a good price or not).

Bob,

Here's some thoughts, Merc still has some of the 383 stroker motors available and that would make a little B20 fly. Even if that monster motor did fit, you'd be way ass heavy.

As for an outboard on a B20, I think it's good for a moppie or b-mar, but not for a barron or barron copy.
