Peter i repowered my bahia mar in 2018 put in 270 remans done by forked river diesel .same guys who did tony's. i get an honest 25 knot cruise at 2250 rpms. i would try giving John Lane a call

i had the same problem with my bahia mar. got slide apart hinges. Open box part way slide inboard half an inch out of the hinges.
i also had straps made up to clip off to hand rail under hard top

i'm loving the performance and fuel efficiency of the cummins. she runs great. cruise around 25 knts @2200-2300. I need to replace my gps again probably a winter project

i had a b 35 it was powered by cat 3208 300 hp. she was a tank cruise was around 20 knots. think 350 400 hp should get you 24 knot boat

tony brought her home alone the other day. ran up the bay @ 25.5-26 knot @ 2250 rpms full fuel just me aboard.

she does run like a different boat. i think the extra weight of the cummins make a big difference. ran up the bay at 26knts in the chop yesterday she didn't pound like she did before

So my 31 Bahia Mar is finally re-powered. she splashed today. Running Cummins 6 BTAs 270 hp. 25. 5 knots at 2350 rpms, So happy to have the old girl floating again.

reelcrazy getting new engines

so my 31 bahia mar is getting a re-power. The engines are cummins 270 .I think I'll be ready to sea trial in about a month. i'm looking for some info on props I Thanks Ray have a friend who'll let me borrow a set of 21 x 23 three blade nibrals. I'm concerned that with 1.53 to 1 gears even with 1 eng...
