THANKS-just got off phone with BOATUS and they are almost half of my last quote, i just had a survey done and the appraised value came back at 170000.00,using that value the quote was 1247.00, with a 1% deductible. know nobody would pay 170000.00 for it cause its an 1981, but wont find a nicer boat ...

insurance question

my last insurance bill on the PLAYPEN came in at 2138.00 (travelers ins. co)i am told by my agent that because the boat is over 25 years old that only select insurances companies will even quote on it.

any suggestions?

Pete- Thanks, know both of them very well, as a matter of fact we won the MIDALANTIC 500 blue marlin catagory on Jimmies boat REEL CLASS with a 433lb blue marlin on the last day of the tour. 7 years ago. was a real thrill. I am fishin the midatlantic again this year on the PLAYPEN!

YEAH, i am sure they were greatful, another thought, great to be in a country that has the response capapbilities that this country does, the COAST GUARD does a magnificent job , dont think they get enough credit,glad they are covering our backs!

BLACK MAGIC, A 32 BLACK FIN OUT OF FORKED RIVER WENT MISSING FROM AN OVERNIGHT TUNA TRIP, THE CHARTER BOAT IS FROM FORKED RIVER NJ AND HAD 6 PEOPLE ON BOARD. A MAYDAY WAS PICKED UP APPROX 1AM AT THE COAST GUARD STATION IN MARTHAS VINEYARD.

HOPE THEY FIND THEM!

shafts -- 1 1/2'' (prefer Aquamet22)
props -- 20x 24 4 blade

i cruise at 28 kts 3200 rpm
wot 34 kts
cruise 1.6 miles to 1 gallon

performance is incredible
