mike...water skis were invented in 1924 TODAY on long island by a photographer. theres a shot of him skiing with a big box camera on a tripod. he started a company and sold the first manufactured skis for........5 bucks a pair.

actually its a typical pattern. la nina' brings more moisture in from the pacific. you get a large early snow and a self fulfilling prophecy kicks in. more cold weather and more snow. one feeds the other. unlike most it seems......i like it. but just for winter.

peter....i ran that one thru my head a few times. one of my fantasy boats would be a 25 with two large diesels forward with straight drives and a wood deck. just a cowl...no screen and the helm mid ship. screamer.

bob...i built models for a living for years. i spent months building design models only to have them trashed when the concept sold. this includes an 18 foot long model for disney. they sold the concept with a video of the model than trashed 10 months of work.

the inboards have a reasonable scupper but the ball in cup outside valves solve the problem anyway. highly recommended for 25s.

any length will fit. you put it on one engine box with the rest over the transom. i guess a really small one would actually fit in the cockpit. 25's are like sport fishers with no rear cabin bulkhead so i slide mine across the dinette table and let it hang over the stern. i just use towels and bunge...

we got about 6-8 but the first 4 were really wet and heavy. walking back to the shop i barely sank in. like i was wearing snow shoes. last night huge slabs were blown out of the trees and were landing on the roof. a noise i never heard before. thump!!

rex is a sideshow...BUT..this is the first time the jets have gone to the playoffs two years in a row and rookie average QB has won the most playoff games in jets history. more than namath (2-1).

i throw my 16 foot kayak in the bertram all the time. and its a 25. i've kayaked all over gardiners bay the easy way. in a 31 its a piece of cake.
