its straight inboard and chrysler never made a 350, i dont think....there's 318....340 ...and 360 in small blocks....all of which would be incorrect in this hull

we lost our beloved malamut "comet" this summer.... and while she would basicly eat anything that ever had a face (and some things that didnt....plastic screw driver handle)...she went absolutly nuts for raw tuna......cutting quarters into steaks was a no waste proposition at our house.......pet sushi

actually in the strictest sence of the word ...CC's cant be "bubble boats"...its the clorox bottle shape associated with many no gunnel ,clamshell constructed , unseaworthy "boats"...its all about sacrificing everything else to get more interior room...i think

no.....eds boat....which is in the 25 site picture gallery under "day boats"....is a custom moppie with an aftermatket windshield and roof.....roof is much higher than a hardtop 25 and the cabin well is filled in giving a flat floor.....its a very cool boat but not as nice as a fly bridge...IMHO

thanks patrick...i have the forum page on my favorites and couldnt figure out how to get to the links page.......hank was here and looked at my friend eds 25...he has a windshield supposedly from a blackfin 26 and it looks sharp ....has a lot more sweep...says he got it from american marine sooooo.....

harv....didnt realize there was a second page and composed a reply which is now deleted since you realize whats what.....however it might interest you to know that for seven months in 1938 montauk was indeed an island....the same hurricane that opened the shinnecock inlet (i think) also flooded nape...

nic...no....it can be quite hot in the day time but at night or offshore can be chilly ...specially if it is windy...which it always is.....montauk is as close to an island without being one as is possible....no matter which way the wind is blowing it is coming off the water........which is one reas...

while acetone is very volitile (almost burned a cabin down trying to start wet firewood)....sprying it will allow it to flash off in quick order leaving the CX......i would still use laquer thinner....and leave the engine cover off for awhile.....i pay special attention to engine mounts ...really so...

walter...the tide was so low when we got back we had to help a fellow boater who was" hangin not bangin".......i could see all kinds of crap thats fallen in the water around my boat in the last five years.....the flats by cartwright shoal were impassable even in a small outboard.......never saw that...
