i think thats the old regs....it went from never, to covered bed,(camper) to anything goes as long as you dont have commercial plates or signage on the truck. at one time all pick-ups had to have commercial plates.

no empty land south of montauk highway (ocean side) south of a mil..there are half acres starting to show up now in the least desirable neighborhoods (like where i live) for 400K......its science fiction....bought a small commercial lot in 81 for 6K...not as an investment but to expand my property.....

Randy, Wouldn't hurt the intake of water at all, but could cause some distrubed water at the top of the props resulting in cavitation. Any way you could move them back the same foot but also inboard close to the centerline? br, Patrick partick...they would be inboard of the struts...right now they ...

a few observations...surfboards are generally made with closed cell foam...trust me...it absorbs water. it just does it slower than open cell. my B25 because it is an inboard is rock solid. (ask patrick and bruce) with no bonding or cracking issues because the stringers are very overbuilt and over b...

if its not to bad a little clean up is all thats needed. remove all rust and scale, clean with brake cleaner (no residue) mask and paint. or you can go crazy like me and take off every external assembly , sand blast ,prime and paint....but thats excessive....and the engine i did in the boat looks th...

i would suggest you do what you want and put a sheet of glass over it.....anything else will not be a good writing surface for long.....unless maybe you fake the caulk with something hard (ebony?) and glue the whole thing up like butcher block.......cool idea by the way
