Re: Bermuda Project
Guy's while I have your attention. I will be putting the Cabrera FG cockpit floor back in her but will be replacing the subfloor supports with Coosa. What do guys think the minimum thickness of Coosa is that I can get away with assuming I will be trying not to laminate most of it?

Yup been reading previous threads about that very issue last night. Seems the problem was improved by placing a trim tab over the rudders.

Re: propellers rake and attitude
Thanks Carl, larger wheels are not my priority. I think I'd rather have the props farther back in order to minimise the shaft angle further to maybe even less than 11 degrees and still have room for a 21" or so prop. I don't mind repositioning the rudders as far back as possible as boat is a total r...

Re: propellers rake and attitude
Hey Carl this is helpful. I read a post from a long time ago where there were problems if moving the rudders too far back? Or maybe it was that there was uneven rudder positioning. I am totally gutting the boat and will use oversized rudders. I would think that the further aft the struts (and rudder...

Cabin door window needed
Hello Gentleman, The guys started this week on the total gutting of the FB cruiser which will involve conversion of her to a sedan as I need to get under a bridge in my commute in Bermuda. I will be replacing the aft cabin bulkheads with coosa. The current central door is a non-original sliding one ...

Re: propellers rake and attitude
Thanks Guys I do understand what rake and pitch are but I need to understand how each effects the bow attitude of the B31? It was often said on this board years ago, that increasing the pitch and having larger props (and hence a larger blade area) pushes the bow of the 31 down with this attitude mak...

propellers rake and attitude
Ok so I remember while back that overpowered B31's tend to push the nose down at speed this being accentuated by the 15 degree prop angle. I have heard that this is accentuated by the larger prop angle. I understand that reducing this to 10 degrees reduces the amount the bow is pushed down. This has...

Definitely enough sedans out there so there must be adequate visibility at least. She will also have trim tabs to help keep ...
