I bought a pair of original Lee Sr. 4 foot bases and 22 foot poles from a guy who replaced them with newer outriggers. I always liked the look and the length seems to be the best, especially from the factory. If interested, they're for sale, PM me for photos and price.

There are 2 examples in the SEAL museum on A1A in Fort Pierce. I recognized the hull although nowhere can you find any info on them.
I have a couple of photos but can't post them here, they're not online and there isn't an upload feature in the site.

I also suggest you look at the Cobra MR F77(W for white, B for Black) GPS. Excellent unit very close to $200 and, Like Tony said, get the best antenna you can, I got a 8' 6db Shakespeare Galaxy and I receive the Miami Coast Guard transmissions all the way in Melbourne, over 200 miles away! The Simrad GO9 is excellent and below $1600. I installed it on my boat and the images and detail are awesome. It does come with a transom transducer but you could always get an Airmar transducer inside the hull.

18' poles should be OK, 16' would look too small unless you're installing the bases on the flybridge. The plaque said that 2 of these boats attacked a Navy ship, one was sunk and later salvaged and one was found drifting in the gulf. I think this was the one found drifting but am not sure.

Widebody B38 owners usually love their boats, I know quite a few and they won't trade them for anything. In last month's Powerboat & Motoryacht one owner repowered his with Volvo IPS pods and is really happy with the results. Excellent boat in my opinion.
