Wow! A B50 from idle to on the step in 50'? Incredible... Sorry I wasn't exactly clear. We passed a semi populated area with a 5mph zone. We were past the last sign of anything man made for 100-150 yards with nothing else in sight when the first sporty jumped up on plane. I did the same & just as I...

There were a bunch of the fish & wildlife guys patroling within a few miles of Toland Martin's Marina near Clewiston, but other than there we didn't run into any of them. Were you transiting on a weekend?
Tommy
It was on a Friday afternoon. We were a bit West of Roland's.

That is a good report. We will be coming from Morehead City in a 53 Hat SF. Only problem is the complete date keeps getting pushed back. Thanks for the report. It is now looking like April before being complete. -ANDY I just made the crossing on my 50 bertram/full tower & had only one problem that ...

Hey Capt. I just dug my Lee Sr. outrigger bases out of the pile in my garage. I will make an attempt to package them tomorrow & take them to UPS. The main pipes are roughly 8'. The main stainless tubes could be polished up ok but all of the support hardware will need to be re-chromed. Do you want a ...

Wow! The "tiger cruise" must have been awsome! My son (almost 5yrs old) goes nuts for aircraft. We go to as many air shows as possible. I took him to his first visit to Kennedy Space Ctr last year & on the way home he said to my wife "mom, I want to be an astronaut when I grow up but first, I have t...

I have a 4' piece of brand new 6" fiberglass exhaust pipe. I'll send you as much as you need. It was left over from a previous project & has almost ended up in the dumpster a few times.
Let me know how you want it shipped & I'll get it on it's way.

I like the fighting lady yellow with a green boot stripe. With the green bottom, I'd put a 3" green boot stripe 1" above the bottom paint & then possibly an additional 3/8"-1/2" stripe just above that. I've seen it before & it looks awsome.

I have used Bristol Finish (two part epoxy) on my last boat as well as my current B50. It holds up perfectly & looks awsome. The only downfall is the smell when wet. It dries extremely fast so you can lay down multiple coats in the time it takes for two coats of regular varnish. On my last boat, I p...
