Re: Lighted Switches?

I made some templates and went out after work to see how they would look
https://photos.app.goo.gl/cg2YLy2mPe8YZkpm7

center of dash is 2 rows x5 carling switches
upper vhf is 1 row of 6 and the fusion radio in the center, I didn't do a template of the vhf but that will go starboard side up high

Hi All, I would like to plan out the dash for my doghouse and went looking at the compass that I had and it is showing its age, I think it came with the boat in 1964 so it has been around for a while, I've never had a cover for it so it has taken a lot of abuse. The Fusion RA-55 kit showed up today, I took a quick look at it and it seems really well built and sealed. Being the lowest end radio of their line, I'm sure it won't be the greatest audio wise but it will serve my basic needs. As for the size, it is definitely smaller than a standard car stereo so ...

Interesting idea of just painting over the glue, I'm wondering if something like a white truck rubber bed-liner paint might work and also provide some of the sound deadening properties?

Rick, for the first time, my recommendation is to glass something simple which you don't care about.
